How to give participation points or extra credit for SET survey participation

Notes:

  • There must be at least 4 responses in the SET survey of the class to use this feature.
  • The ABET course outcome questions are included in the SET survey.

Steps:

  1. Login to my.ucla.edu
  2. Go to the "Faculty" tab
  3. Select "Evaluation of Instruction Reports" from the drop-down menu
  4. Select the quarter
  5. You can download the report as either a PDF or CSV file (note that the participation data will not be complete until the survey period is over).
  6. Login to bruinlearn.ucla.edu
  7. Create an assignment column for non-submission assignments in the Gradebook
  8. Enter the parcipation scores into the new gradebook column
