Adding the UCLA Samueli Logo to Your Email Signature

To ensure the UCLA Samueli logo displays correctly in your email signature, it is best to host the image in an accessible online location. The logo is available at:


Keep in mind that some email clients (e.g., Outlook or Gmail web app) may not automatically display images. In such cases, recipients may need to manually enable image display.

The most reliable way to ensure the logo always appears in your emails is as follows:

  1. Download the logo to your local computer from the link above.
  2. Upload the image to Google Drive:
    1. Open Google Drive and upload the downloaded image.
  3. Set sharing permissions:
    1. Locate the uploaded image, click the three vertical dots on the right, and select Share.
    2. Under General access, set it to Anyone with this link.


Once shared this way, you can use the Drive-hosted image URL in your email signature to improve consistency across different email clients.

Go to your Signature settings and, instead of pasting the image link, insert the image directly from your Google Drive:
  1. Click Add Image and select the logo from your Drive folder.



Locate the file and click Add. If the logo appears too large, use the image size options (Small, Medium, Large, Original size) to adjust it as needed.
