Missing Assignment Submissions in SpeedGrader

Missing Assignment Submissions in SpeedGrader

A semi-common scenario we’ve seen is students from an alternative section are assigned to an assignment or quiz and their submission is missing from the SpeedGrader (Example: Assignment "Homework 1-Section A” is assigned to Section A, but Joe Bruin, who is in Section B, is also assigned to it).

The following instructions are how to locate the missing submission:
  1. Go into SpeedGrader and select the name, you should be prompted by a list of names.
  2. At the very top of that list is a clickable item that says “Showing: [Discussion section name}". Click on it.
  3. Select the alternate section that isn’t selected and click apply or click on "Show All Sections"
  4. The other student(s) submission(s) should appear for you.
