Enroll students to a previous course or grant them an extension

For granting access to previous quarters classes:
  1. Go to the class in question
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Under "Course Details" go to "Participation" and switch from "Term" to "Course"
  4. Under "Start" select the date for yesterday, under "End" select the date for tomorrow"
  5. Select "Update Course Details" to save
  6. Go to the "Sections" tab in Settings
  7. Create a new section
  8. Select the new section and go to "Edit section" - a Start and End date should appear
  9. Set the Start and End dates for how long you want the new users to access the course (required)
  10. Check off "Students can only participate in the course between these dates"
  11. Go to People and add those you want to access the course. While enrolling them, add them to the created section.
    IMPORTANT!!
  12. Go back to "Settings", under Course details > Participation and switch from "Course" to "Term" or else the course will close tomorrow.
